If a student lives outside the Willows Unified School District boundary and wishes to attend school in one of our schools, you must first go to the District Office where the student resides and complete an Interdistrict Transfer Agreement. The form must be completed, and the agreement approved, prior to enrolling in a WUSD school.
In the event the application is approved, and the agreement is signed by the parent(s), the parent(s) signature indicates an understanding and agreement to the following:
- The student will be transferred back to his/her district of residence if facilities or programs become unavailable.
- If the student demonstrates unsatisfactory attendance, scholarship, or citizenship, approval may be revoked.
- Falsification or misrepresentation of information on the Interdistrict Attendance Permit constitutes grounds for refusal or cancellation of the permit.
- The parent will assume responsiblity for all transportation to and from school.
- The agreement terminates within 5 years from the closed of the approved school year.
Students who are under consideration for expulsion or who have been expelled may not appeal interdistrict attendance denials or rescissions while expulsion proceedings are pending or during the term of the expulsion. (Education Code 46601)

Laurel St. The form must be completed, and the agreement approved, prior to enrolling the student in another school.
